Capstone is pleased to announce the recent accreditation of Valuation Advisor Todd Nelson. Mr. Nelson has completed American Society of Appraisers’ Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation program, which is one of the industry’s most vigorous and difficult designations to achieve.
We congratulates Mr. Nelson on his achievement. As an ASA, Mr. Nelson joins a select few of under 5,000 fellow experts (across all appraisal disciplines worldwide) who have earned this prestigious and notable accreditation.
Mr. Nelson demonstrated over 10,000 hours of business valuation experience prior to being considered for the ASA program. To earn the designation, he completed 108 hours of valuation education and undertook four three-hour exams. The ASA designation is the preeminent designation in the business valuation profession.
Mr. Nelson has over 18 years of professional experience in complex consulting matters involving business valuation, economic analysis and financial analysis. His experience includes: business valuation, mergers and acquisitions, forensic accounting and investigations, business interruption, due diligence, intellectual property valuations and statistics. Earlier employment has included service at Cortland Valuation Group, Econ One Research, Willamette Management Associates and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Nelson holds a MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland and a BS in Quantitative Business Analysis from The Pennsylvania State University.
